McAllister Park - July 2015
During the heat of summer you’ll find a variety of critters and flora throughout McAllister Park, from large deer to tiny butterfly eggs.
The Critters
The deer were as reclusive as the lizards, taking their time foraging in the rays of sunlight, while the bugs gave birth to new life, stalked their next meal, or remained still as lifeless husks:
The Plants
Although the heat blasted the park, all manner of trees eagerly soaked up the warm light, which gave the hanging fungi and lichen perfect perches to dwell on:
The bugs were patient enough to have macro shots taken with the compact OLYMPUS SZ-10, and the deer were not as patient with the OLYMPUS E-500 DSLR.
