Comanche Lookout Park - September 2016
On a whim, I challenged myself to take new photos at the Comanche Lookout Park, which is designed mostly for trailblazers instead of sightseers, but I was pleasantly surprised when I later captured some of my favorite pictures.
The Clouds
The weather called for rain, which did occur, but that didn't stop me from taking a few magnificent photos of the impending storm clouds:
The Critters
After the rain, butterflies of every color came out to feast, the grasshoppers leaped, the spider waited for said grasshoppers, and the sneaky lizard caught my eye:
The Flower and Plants
Within the foliage was a tiny flower, some boulders scattered amongst moss, the ever-favorite lichen, and a well-lit wilted leaf amidst the trees:
During all this, I was able to film some of the clouds, butterflies, and some snails (which moved too fast for any macro shots):
The macro shots and videos were taken with the OLYMPUS SZ-10, while the clouds were captured by the OLYMPUS E-500.
