San Antonio Botanical Garden - October 2016
Over the course of two days, I took over 200 photos at the San Antonio Botanical Garden, which I managed to narrow down to the 70 best photos, some of which are my permanent desktop wallpapers.
The Flowers
In Texas, the flowers were still as vibrant as ever as they soaked the last of autumn’s sunshine:
The Plants
Some of the plants had some of the most deep and wonderful gradients I’ve ever seen, and the Garden even gave their fields some contrast with some festive pumpkins:
The Critters
Frogs took control of the lily pads, butterflies were rampant as ever (even with broken wings), aphids swarmed the flowers, and a lost fledgling was sought out by its parent:
The Garden
During one of these photoshoots, I was able to visit the Garden after hours to watch a movie-on-the-lawn that they host once in a while, so I took some evening photos of the buildings with some lovely sunset backdrops:
The Clouds
And throughout those days, I captured beautiful clouds during the height of noon and the end of evening:
A few macro shots were taken with the compact OLYMPUS SZ-10, while the rest were beautifully captured with the OLYMPUS E-500 DSLR.
